Merry Christmas to all!!! These lovely pictures were not ease to obtain with two kids. Atleast kohen sits still, Kaiden on the other hand wanted to open the presents. I had to convince the eager little boy the presents weren't real. Kaiden was abit nervous hold his new little brother for the first time. He did well being gentle with the baby. Hope everyone had a very merry christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Kohen Joseph

We have been home for a little over a week. The time sure does fly when your up around the clock and attempting to do ADL's. Kohen Joseph was born 10/29/09 at 1943. 6lbs 13oz and 20.25 inches long. He is my lil pumpkin butt. kohen develop jaundice shortly after delivery, which has resolved its self with frequent breast feedings. Kaiden always looks at Kohen and says "baby cute!" He also like to kiss and hug the baby. Of course kaiden is still all boy and i have to keep an eye on him cause he like to get wild lol. Kaiden is adjusting well with the baby, he has started to become whiny and demanding though:( Im sure in time all the kinks will work its self out.

39 weeks pregnant...its quiting time!

My baby pumpkin! I never thought this baby was going to be a October baby. Tomorrow is the big day of induction. I'm hopeful that i will be dilated enough to have my water broken before trying pitocin again. In all reality I'm sure that's just wishful thinking. Finally Monday night i had Kyle transform my big prego belly into a pumpkin for keepsake pictures. I thought it was a cute idea plus he feels like I'm carrying a big pumpkin around! The doctor decided to call it quites being pregnant since my blood pressure just started creeping up this weekend. Its accompanied by periods of shortness of breath, which seems to happen when i get tachycardic. It's abit weird cause i can be doing nothing and get short of breath. Since i had complications after having Kaiden, the doctor feels it;s best for the baby to be here sooner then later. He will be once week early but they think he still is going to be a big boy. We will have to see how he sizes up. For Kyle's and I amusement my belly measured in at 44in around Monday night! lmao that's bout double of were i started off at. I'm sure my belly isn't going to look to cute for awhile!!!

Prirate the Pumpkin

Since Kaiden really can't help crave pumpkins this, yet i wanted him to feel involved this seem to be a great idea! One day while at Target i stumbled on basically Mr. Potato head parts for pumpkins! Who ever came up with the idea I'm sure is rich lol! Kaiden loved putting the pieces in the holes daddy made for him. Of course Kaiden wanted to pull them all out too.This age it is so hard for me to get good pictures of him. As you see he was being a stinker and at first would only give me his backside view. Some how he was intrigued enough to flash me a half way look!

October 19th

Chicken noodle soup day! I'm in the kitchen busily making homemade chicken noodle soup for lunch before Kyle gets home. Kaiden thought it was cool to play with the tupper ware container. It was keeping him amuse so i didn't mind. Aunt Brittany comes over and what do we see? Kaiden attempting to crawl and sit inside the container on top of the coffee table! The boy doesn't fail to amaze me. we both got such a laugh out if it we had to take a picture! Brittany said he was heavy sitting in there lol! Oh what a Monday.

October 12th..Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin patch, Kaiden liked looking at the cows. He kept going moo moo, but he would not touch them. He thought they would "bite" lol well that's what he did anyways. The baby pigs we saw were so darn cute they were only a week old! Kaiden was cheesing in the wagon he wanted o ride with the pumpkins. We finally convinced him to pull the wagon instead of trying to seat it! It was quite amusing the black farm dog kept following kaiden everywhere he went. So en light of that Kaiden was going dog..dog come on this way. lol, it was funny till we left the farm and the dog of course had to stay. With some persuasion kaiden adventure back to the truck.

September 22

Yes I have been very horrible neglected to keep my blog updated, so today I'm going to do a little catch up! Ahhh September 22, Kyle's 28th bday! The best part of the day was Kyle forgot how old he was this year! Funny the older you get you just seem to lose count. Maybe its the denial factor coming in that yes in deed we are all are going to be old someday. Damn maybe we can find the fountain of youth and drink it all up. Our lovely son, which loves to me as naked as possible, is helping dad read his bday cards. Really he likes to make the music play in the card he picked out for daddy!

Dance dance dance...

We were cleaning the house with music on, after the rugs were moved from the kitchen it seemed it turned into a dance floor for Kaiden. That little boy just began getting down to the music. I love this video it's absolutely adorable!

The working boy

Kaiden loves to steal Kyle's tools any chance he gets. Kyle was out in the yard working and yep Kaiden wanted to work too. I told Kyle one day he will come home from work and the swing set will be all apart lol. I don't think dad or grandpa would be to happy with that, the swing set was a huge task to put together. Kaiden was running to everything with a screw trying to unscrew it. He had fun and its cute to see how much he really does understand.

32wks and 8wks to go....

By now, Your baby weights 3.75pounds and is about 16.7inches long, taking up alot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7weeks as he fattens up for the survival outside of the the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair. His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.

The O.B. check up this week went well, my thyroid levels are doing fine and everything seems to be on track. While sitting on the table the nurse was talking to her self as she reads my chart and i heard her say my due date is Nov. 5th..which is funny cause they did change it to the 10th of Nov awhile back. I guess they decided to change it again. So who knows when this little stinker will be making his presence in this world. We just have to sit back, wait and see.

Awww wonderful nap time

Yes look how percious he is sleeping, even if it's in our bed. Nap time became game till i put Kaiden in our bed and i pretend to sleep with him..lol. Which I will have to say sometimes the joke ends up on me when i realize i dozed off. Also take note of Kaiden's pooh family he likes to cart around with him to sleep. Trust me the boy knows if only one is missing from the bunch, which can drag bedtime out searching for it. I still havent had the heart to take the bink away at nap or bedtime yet. kaiden is so head strong i fear that battle. Yesterday kaiden thought it would be fun to climb inside the babys crib and pretend to be baby. He thought was funny, when i asked him if he was a big boy or baby he said" baby". I believe he thinks he is being a funny boy.

Drain..drain..drain

Finally this lovely huge hole in the middle of our driveway and backyard has come to an end. This patch is were our previouly broken down drain was. So lucky us or i should say Kyle had his work cut out for him. Though the rain we had on labor day put a damper on our cookout, it did allow us to see how much and how well the new improved drain would work. Congrads to Kyle with the down pour recieved last night it contained all the water. Thank goodness no more flooded patio with backwash dirt all over the place. We all ate dinner yesterday under the gazbo, while the kids played in the misting rain. lol the boys thought the wet slide was a water slide! Kaiden was very upset when his friends left him. He sat with his face by the fence and just cried. Poor kid was broken hearted and tired! He ate alittle dinner then played with the hose while it was raining that boy is a fish.

This is Kaiden in his cool guy mode! He really took to these glasses he received at Nichole's baby shower. Now every time he gets in the car if he see his blue shades he has to wear them on his head lol.

The bucket monster

The attack of the bucket monster....I'm in the kitchen making dinner when i hear a little voice yelling out calmly mamaaa. So i go into kaiden's play room to see what he is doing and no kaiden. "Kaiden..where are you?" Of course no reply. I look next in his room and i see this bucket moving! lol Yep this is his new game hiding in the bucket. Only thing is he gets very very upset if you dare remove the bucket off of him. Yes I learned that the hard way. So a few times a day we play were is Kaiden? Only to hurry and peek under the bucket and say "there he is!" Also take notice the boy loves to be pantless! If he had his way he would strut around in his birthday suit. I pray his hiding skills don't become too well developed or I might be stuck looking for him for awhile..lol.

The dreadful fish tank

kaiden thought it would be nice to turn the fish tank into a wishing well, hence all the pennies at the bottom of the tank. This picture doesn't show the justice of all the different articles of items that have been caught diving with the fish. We have replaced two cable remotes...a few coloring books..some balls..cars..oh yes and of course array of food! Guess kaiden didn't want to the fish to go hungry. It was pretty funny seeing grapes at the bottom of the tank. The catfish were wrestling with a sausage chunk trying there hardest to conquer it! To save the fish from possible knock out of a foreign item kaiden's lil boy chair had to move out of the living room. Now fish and child are living in peace lol.

kaiden & the Shark!........... 31 weeks...9wks to go!

This shark looks like its giving us a stare down, but actually was spitting water at us! It was the neatest & weridest thing. The shark kept swiming in front of us raise it's head then open his mouth and a stream of water would come out!

These pictures are actually from the end of June. I've been slacking on getting on the computer to post them. Kaiden thought it was very cool to pet the sharks. Look i was brave too, till i saw they had teeth! The sharks felt like a smooth sandpaper, weird.

How your baby's growing:
This week your baby measures 16in long. He weights about 3.3lbs (try carrying 4 navel oranges) he is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs and body are beginning to plump up as needed body fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot too, so you might have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep u up. Take comfort: All is a good sign that your baby is active and healthy.

The Smokies

You just have to love this sign! Your just strolling down or I should say up a trail ( since we were in the mnts) and you just come along this sign on your way. Makes you wonder how many kids or adults had fallen off the side of the trail before posting such a sign. I will have to say kaiden was such a trooper walking the distance of the trails. He was so excited of the end results of seeing the water falls. Only problem was when it was time to leave the waterfall he protested by shouting..wawafall wawafall!
